Joshua Goldstein
Executive Vice President
With over 21 years of experience in property insurance adjusting, Josh Goldstein has built his career around strategy, psychology, and a genuine dedication to helping clients recover after loss. Growing up in a family business, he learned the values of persistence, fairness, and client advocacy from his father, uncle, and brother, and continues to carry those lessons forward in every claim he handles.
Josh is a graduate of UMass Amherst and holds a Construction Supervisor License as well as certification from Vale Tech Adjusting School. He believes that every claim is as much a psychological experience as a technical one, understanding how people think, recognizing what motivates them, and tailoring each negotiation to reach the best possible outcome. For him, the process isn’t just about numbers; it’s about understanding human behavior and guiding everyone involved toward a fair and satisfying resolution.
Among his most memorable accomplishments are two highly complex claims: Meadowbrook Golf Course and New England Casket. At Meadowbrook, Josh led the effort to help rebuild the golf course after two devastating fires, supporting ownership and members through the emotional and financial recovery. The New England Casket fire, which struck just before COVID, presented massive challenges involving demolition, asbestos abatement, and extensive business interruption. Despite an initial offer from the carrier that severely undervalued the loss, Josh successfully tripled nearly every category of recovery under the policy, helping the business rebuild and move forward.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children, Sophie and Luke, and loves being outdoors on the golf course. A lifelong Boston sports fan, he proudly cheers on the Patriots, Celtics, and just about any Boston team.
