Hayden Smith

Hayden Smith brings over a decade of experience in the property insurance industry, specializing in high-exposure commercial and residential claims. In his prior role with a leading national carrier, he managed complex and high-value losses, including the company’s largest claims and most important clients. This background provides him with a deep understanding of claim strategy, positioning, and valuation—expertise he now applies to effectively advocate on behalf of policyholders.

A graduate of Providence College, Hayden holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations and maintains active adjuster licenses across multiple states.

Hayden joined Seltzer & Goldstein to leverage his extensive knowledge of insurance coverage and the claims process in support of clients navigating complex property losses. He is committed to helping policyholders fully understand their coverage, maximize available benefits, and achieve fair and equitable outcomes in a timely manner.

Outside of his professional work, Hayden enjoys traveling and hiking with his wife and two children. He is an avid sports fan and supports his local teams. He is also actively involved in his community, serving on the Board of Trustees for Pioneer Valley Montessori School and on the local Board of Assessors.
